Painful Backups

I’m a Backup Guy.

I’ve worked with backups for years and I’ve given 1,752 demonstrations on backup products (and yes, that’s the actual number).

Modern backup solutions have come a long way, but boy is there still room for improvement.

Whether you are a home user with a single laptop, or an Enterprise IT manager with a thousand virtual servers, the desires for a backup solution are all the same:

Simple
Complete
Fast
Unobtrusive
Automated
And, of course, reasonably priced.

Unfortunately, that’s a tall order. Modern solutions usually have a few of these requirements, but lack others (don’t get me started). The key is finding the right solution for your specific needs.

PC Results can be your guide in the complicated Backup and Disaster Recovery arena. Our experts can take a look at your current capabilities and make recommendations based on your requirements. We work with multiple backup products, because we don’t like cookie cutter solutions. (Heck, I’m certified on four different backup solutions).

Here are some things to think about:

Are your backups taking hours (or days) to complete?
Are you still using tape?
Are all of your backups in one place?
When is the last time you tested your backups? (Never?)
Do you backup up everything? (Anything?)
Have you been using the same backup product for five years? (Ten? More?)

If any of those questions resonate, please give us a call.

It’s time for a modern solution. Your company and your priceless data deserve it.
